The MiataPower mailing list is a technical forum dedicated to extracting more power from your Miata. Much of the discussions that take place are applicable for any car, but any implementation specifics are always about the Miata. This mailing list is a low traffic list - many people subscribe to this list but not the main Miata mailing list, because they do not have time to wade through the volume of main list, but enjoy the technical content the power list offers. While the MiataPower list is unmoderated, and we're not a bunch of old fogies, please respect the original charter of this mailing list with the following observations:
Things you will find on this list:
- Reports from dyno days
- Updates on ECU/turbo/supercharger installation projects
- People asking for technical help regarding their *charged Miatas
- Any technical discussion about engines, how they work, and how to get more power out of them
Things you won't find on this list:
- Discussions about the merits of air bags
- Discussions about what color Miata is best
- Reviews of your cool new VooDoo knob
- Flame wars
- Though sometimes difficult to contain, please refrain from "me too" posts (or comments that do not technically contribute to the thread)
Occasionally, folks will accidentally poke their head in asking questions about how to fix their brakes or transmission, because frankly there is such a high concentration of technically proficient folks here. Feel free to answer them all you want, but kindly do that privately and off-list.
Again, this list was originally created BY and FOR those folks who enjoy a high signal-to-noise ratio communication medium, and did not want the sheer volume of non-applicable emails that are often found on other mailing lists.
